EMC was proud to supply audio and lighting to folk music legend Judy Collins. One of her few Canadian stops on her world tour included Knox Church in Stratford. Suite Judy Blue Eyes put on a great show and entertained the near capacity crowd with humorous anecdotes and great songs.
Judy brought Andy White, an Irishman living in Austrailia(try that for an accent) as her opening act. Andy played some great tunes, and has a real unique and entertaining guitar style.
This was one of the first times we deployed our new line array speaker system. A Yamaha LS9 was the preferred digital console requested on the tech rider and we were pleased to be able to provide one from our inventory. Judy’s FOH engineer George commented on how good the system sounded. He was even nice enough to mention that while the concert promoter was within earshot.) Thanks George.
