True story. I’m playing with a bar band in Port Dover one weekend. The owner/manager wants us to take an extended break on the Friday night because a former local musician and his band is performing on the David Letterman Show. All the TV’s in the place are tuned to CBS, Fred comes on and plays his song, the place goes wild. It was an inspiring performance and I hoped to work with him one day.
Fast forward to this spring and I get a tech rider for Fred Eaglesmith and the Travelling Steam Show booked to play the Masonic. Awesome show, and GREAT people to work with.
